Front Desk

Our front desk is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact the front desk should you require any assistance or information.

Checkout Time

Checkout time is 11 a.m. for all room types. If you require a late check-out please contact our front desk. We will try to accommodate your request if space and staffing permits.

Amenities

Britannia Inn provides all guests with a variety of amenities (shampoo/conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, facial soap and deodorant soap). If any of these items are not available, please contact the front desk.

Laundry

For your convenience washers and dryers are provided free of charge. Dispensers are available for the purchase of detergents and softeners or you may purchase them at the front desk. Your room key will open the door of the laundry rooms. They are located in the following areas within each of the following buildings:

First Floor (center of building)

Building 640  First Floor (center of building)

Building 628  Second Floor (center of building)

Building 675  First Floor (by the stairs) 

Additional laundry supplies may be purchased from the front desk.

Dry Cleaning

Dry Cleaning and alterations are available at the AAFES Mini-Mall.  They are closed on Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday through Friday from 1000 – 1800 hours.  For more information please call 268-3782.  Please call ahead for hours of operation as they are subject to change.

Ice Machines

Ice machines are located in the following areas:

  • Building 639 - First Floor Lobby
  • Building 640 - Second Floor Laundry Room
  • Building 628 - Second Floor Laundry room
  • Building 675 - Second Floor Kitchen Room

Emergency Assistance

In case of emergencies, dial 911(for Fire, Security Forces, and Ambulance).

Please avoid the following Fire Hazards:

  • Using unauthorized cooking or heating devices in your room.
  • Overloading electrical circuits.
  • Leaving cooking equipment unattended while in use.
  • Not following good housekeeping practices.
  • Placing appliances, such as irons on floor or bed.
  • Placing grills within 15 feet of building.

Room Payments

All guests are required to pay in advance or have a credit card on file for their rooms. A $25.00 service charge will be assessed for all checks returned by the bank. Lodging rates are as follows:

  • Visiting Quarters - $34.75 to $39.00
  • Transient Lodging Facility - $41.50
  • Transient Pet Lodging Facility - $51.50
  • Distinguished Visitors Quarters - $48.25

Smoking

A cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged for smoking in any of our rooms.

Extensions

Military guests who are in-processing (PCS) have a 30-day entitlement IAW AFI 34-246 for on base lodging providing space availability, though reimbursement may be for a lesser amount of time. Extensions to the 30-day limit may be granted based on availability. Requests should be made through front desk for management approval. Most civilians are entitled to 90 days lodging if space is available.  Contact the finance office for questions about reimbursement.

Space-A

Space permitting rooms for Priority 2 travelers or “Space A” guests are available on a first come, first served basis for a maximum of 3 nights initially.  If you are currently checked in under Priority 2 status and require an extra night, please contact the front desk. Extensions after initial 3 days will be granted if space is available.

Business Center

Commercial and DSN fax services are available at the front desk at no charge. The business center is located in the lodging reception office and offers free computers, printers and copy service through the front desk. A DSN line is also available in the lodging reception area for guest use.

Lodging Conference Room

Britannia Inn offers a conference room seating a maximum of 20 attendees.  Our large conference table seats 10 comfortably with further seating available.  A LAN computer and LCE projector are provided for presentations with a DVD player and television with AFN cable. 

Quarters Maintenance

Lodging and Civil Engineering strive to maintain the highest standards of maintenance in all our quarters. If you have any problem that requires repair, please notify the front desk. You may also complete the Maintenance Card provided in your room. Leave the card on the desk or table and our staff will collect it to begin the repair process.

Check Cashing

Checks may be written for the amount of the lodging bill ONLY.

Base Exchange

The Exchange will cash personal checks for military personnel and civilians up to $300.00 per day and two party checks up to $100 per day.  NOTE: Common Access Cards (CACs) must have Commissary and BX privileges stated on them to use the BX and Commissary.  Lodging will stamp both civilian and military orders upon check in to ensure you are eligible to use these facilities until you have your CAC updated.  The Stuckley Inn will also cash personal checks, up to $300, provided the individual has a valid ID and club card.

ATM

Automatic Teller Machines are in:

  • Community Bank
  • Keesler Federal Credit Union

Sundry Items

For beverages, snacks, quick meals or sundry items, stop by the front desk. A selection of snacks and beverages are stocked in Business Suites. Any item consumed during your stay must be paid for at checkout. Items are restocked daily.

Wake Up Service

This service is provided by contacting the front desk at 268-6000.

Lost and Found

All items found in the rooms after departure of our guests are sent to the front desk and cataloged. Misplaced items are maintained for 30 days before being disposed of.

Customer Evaluation

There is an evaluation form in your room or you may pick one up from the front desk. We ask you to take a few minutes and give us your comments and suggestions. The completed forms may be left at the front desk or in your room. We welcome your comments on the service we provide.
