School Age Program

Activities

A wide range of physical and non-physical activities are offered by the SAP. Outside activities differ daily. In inclement weather the gymnasium is used. A homework center offers an appealing area to finish school work or to explore new interest areas. A weekly schedule of activities is posted on the parent information board at the Youth Center. A summary of scheduled activities for this summer can also be found here.

About Us

The School Age Program (SAP) is designed to promote the cognitive,  social, emotional, and physical  development of school-aged children through hands-on experiences while having fun.  We will provide a safe, secure environment where children can extend their learning while complimenting, rather than duplicating their school day.

A parent is a child's first and primary educator.  Parent's are invited to become a part of our youth-care team.  Please contact staff about sharing skills with us such as crafts, hobbies or languages.  We would also like to share in any family heritage celebrations.

We want your child's experience in our program to be a positive and happy on.  We hope to help them build a healthy concept of themselves, develop self reliances, and a curiosity for new learning.
